The street, the theatre of liberty
Street theatre is the most direct, free and universal form of expression I know. It is where the artist performs in an open space and where the presence, the gesture, the frontal and direct relationship with the public and the improvisation all create an atmosphere and a unique transformation of everyday life.
The objective of this training is to offer the basics and tools to be able to perform a street show through theoretical-practical preparation work getting to know the language of street more closely.
Through a series of exercises we will enhance the creativity of each participant to explore their personal universe through body expression , movement , improvisation , character creation in tune with the different confrontations one is likely to meet on the street.
This will entail daily street work to observe and explore the possibilities and surprises that the street offers.
